Over the last five years, Asado Ministries has given a small amount of funds to assist Author Piriz in publishing various pamphlets of Uruguayan Christians who have made an impact in their society.
Gustav Amorin, a former murderer, turned born-again Christian, has a marvelous story to tell. We met Amorin after his release from prison just as Author Piriz was finishing up a pamphlet about the life of Gustav Amorin. This pamphlet has been distributed throughout many prisons in Uruguay for inmates to read. Amorin visited all the prisons in Uruguay speaking about how Christ changed his life completely. He has had a great impact.
Author Piriz has just finished another pamphlet, this time about the Jabez Farm, the drug rehabilitation center. The author is quite passionate about the work being done with these young folks that live now at the Jabez Farm. We will help him publish the booklet.
The conundrum is that as Author/Pastor Piriz extolls the virtues of the Jabez Farm, many more will want to be part of this treatment place. Until new staff members can be funded, the number of available spaces is extremely limited.
We need to help to get the word out about Jabez Farm in Montevideo, Uruguay. Author Piriz has produced a very compelling case for this farm/drug rehabilitation facility. There is none like it in all of Uruguay and that is because it is Christ-centered. Your contribution can go toward distributing the pamphlet to all corners of Uruguay.
