Many believe the false gospel of “safe Christianity” that requires no risk, no faith, and no sacrifice. But the Christian faith was never meant to be a spectator sport.” “And as we begin to understand the greatness of God’s grace, we no longer give just to feel good, to ease the conscience, or to receive the praise of men-we give joyfully as an act of worship to God who was first generous to us. Asado Ministries has had numerous marvelous encounters with the organization called Generous Giving. These great folks never ask for donations, nor do they collect nor solicit funds. Generous Giving helps people discover the great joy of giving. They share the message of biblical generosity, encouraging people to embrace a lifestyle of giving. Generous Giving was founded in 2000 by The Maclellan Foundation. This Foundation continues to fully and privately fund the work of Generous Giving. We would urge all who donate to Asado Ministries or to any church or other 501 c 3 organization, to visit Generous Giving’s website and to strongly consider being part of one of their meetings to explore what it really means to be a generous giver where one discovers that freedom from anxiety is one of the inward evidences of seeking first the Kingdom of God.
