Tom is the point person for Asado Ministries. He practices law in Suwanee, Georgia, representing injured people. Tom says that he is blessed with self-employment which has allowed him to travel to Montevidoe, Uruguay, 25 times in the last 19 years. Tom attends North Point Community Church.
Carmen was born in Romania, she became a Christ follower after she arrived in the United States. Uruguayan people remind her of her country people. The connection with them is like visiting with long time “cousins and aunts and uncles.” Her strong desire to work with children and women from the not so fortunate neighborhoods of Montevideo, Uruguay is to give them hope that God has a plan for their lives, that they can be adopted into His family and become sons and daughters of the Most High God. Carmen attends North Point Community Church.

Tom is a semi-retired Aircraft Structural Integrity engineer with 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren. He and his amazing wife Patti live in Cumming, GA and are active members of North Point Community Church. Since 2004 Tom and Patti have led 22 “Starting Point” groups together at North Point Community Church, facilitating conversations about faith with adults who are new to and curious about Christianity. This, they agree, is their passion. Through Starting Point Tom and Patti have shared the joy of seeing lives transformed as these precious people discover the boundless love and amazing grace of Jesus Christ. Tom and Patti were married 40 years ago in Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta in 1991. They have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Tom grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Milwaukee Braves fan and Lombardy-era Packer fan. His College path, from Wisconsin (BS) to Caltech (MS) to UCLA (PHD), replanted him in Los Angeles. He worked 41 years for Lockheed Martin as an Aircraft Structural Integrity Engineer, including 21 years supporting design and development of the F-22 aircraft. Since retiring from Lockheed in 2008 Tom maintains a part-time consulting business supporting structural integrity of military aircraft. Some favorite leisure pastimes are family time, personal conversations 1 on 1, or becoming 4-years-old again while playing with granddaughter Kensi.

Matt is a Navy Captain on active duty, stationed in Pensacola, Florida. Matt is a Medical Doctor and works as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He and his wonderful wife, Toni, both attend North Point Community Church.

David is a Software Executive, born and raised in Chennai, India. David, his lovely wife Gen, and his family have lived in America for over 20 years. They now reside in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Tilaka family attends North Point Community Church.

William Hollberg, “Bill”, has practiced law in Atlanta for over 40 years, representing Christians in various cases, and engaging in a general practice that includes commercial real estate and business law litigation. He recently retired in 2018. He and his lovely wife, Shirley, married in 1971 and have two children. Bill and Shirley attend Christ Church of Atlanta. Bill’s passion for the last 7 years has been to create a restructing of the Bible in a new and different format. He has completed this massive work in 2018 and this Bible, called The Panoramic Bible: The Storyline of Scripture”, can be purchased on line on Amazon and other venues wherever books are sold.
